LTIMindtree fresher hiring: online test sections and interview rounds

LTIMindtree hires freshers through eligibility screening, an online assessment, a technical interview and an HR or managerial interview. The online test is built around aptitude, verbal ability and coding; some drives add logical reasoning, pseudocode or technical MCQs. Unlike some companies, LTIMindtree uses no single fixed pattern across drives, so prepare broadly.

Companies do not publish an official, fixed test pattern, and it can change from drive to drive. The pattern below is the one reported by students in recent drives. Your test invitation is the final word.

What the online test covers

AreaReported topics
AptitudePercentages, time and work, speed, probability, data interpretation
VerbalReading comprehension, sentence correction, grammar, para-jumbles, error spotting
Logical reasoning (some drives)Arrangements, series, coding-decoding
CodingOne or two simple-to-moderate problems: arrays, strings, loops, functions, sometimes sorting or recursion
Technical MCQs or pseudocode (some drives)Output prediction, OOP, DBMS, OS basics

Students describe the difficulty as moderate, with speed as the main challenge. Coding is usually allowed in C, C++, Java or Python.

Interviews

  • Technical: your project, OOP, one programming language, DBMS and SQL, and a simple coding question.
  • HR or managerial: communication, teamwork, relocation and why LTIMindtree.

Eligibility screening

Your 10th, 12th, diploma and graduation marks, backlogs, branch, year of passing and education gaps are checked against the drive's rules, which vary. Keep your documents ready.

A three-week plan

  1. Week 1: aptitude basics and grammar, 30 questions a day.
  2. Week 2: coding (arrays and strings) daily; 10 pseudocode questions a day.
  3. Week 3: timed mixed tests and interview preparation.

Frequently asked questions

Students describe it as basic problem-solving, not competitive programming: arrays, strings and loops.

Is the pattern the same in every drive?

No. Sections vary between drives, so read your test invitation carefully.

Where should I apply?
